Big News: Total Language Plus Is Now the Home of Diana Waring’s History Revealed!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our TLP family: We have officially acquired Diana Waring’s History Revealed curriculum! This is a joyful and natural extension of Total Language Plus as we continue expanding high-quality, faith-centered learning resources for homeschool families.
For more than thirty years, Diana Waring has inspired parents and students with her joyful, God-honoring approach to history—an approach that traces God’s hand through every era and invites students to enter the story. Her History Revealed series has long been loved by homeschoolers for its narrative-rich lessons, hands-on learning, and deep biblical integration.
Just as we have worked to honor and build upon Barbara Blakey’s legacy within TLP, we are equally committed to preserving the heart and vision Diana has poured into History Revealed. We see this acquisition as a beautiful widening of the mission God has entrusted to us.
How Did This Come About?
A Story Only God Could Write
A few months ago, Brandon was reflecting on his own years as a homeschooled student while drafting a TLP blog post. In it, he shared the freedom he had to tailor learning to his strengths and interests. One of the resources he used—because of his deep love for history—was Diana Waring’s What in the World audio series (back in the cassette-tape days!).
Curious about the future of History Revealed, Brandon reached out to Bill and Diana. What he didn’t know was that they had been praying for years about succession—seeking the right people, with the right heart, to carry their curriculum into its next chapter.
From the very first conversation, the Lord’s timing and provision became unmistakably clear. Each discussion was marked by unity, joy, and a shared sense that God was weaving together something bigger than any of us could have imagined.
We continue to be amazed at His orchestration, affirmation, and peace at every step.
What Does This Mean for TLP Families?
The heart of TLP will remain the same. We will continue to create and support Charlotte Mason inspired literature-based Language Arts curriculum. We will simply be adding the History Revealed curriculum to our growing offerings.
Support will continue and grow. TLP will offer resources, encouragement, and updates as they integrate History Revealed into their family of faith-based programs.
A legacy continues. Diana’s wisdom, creativity, and vision will live on through this next chapter. She offers her full blessing and encouragement for the transition and desires to collaborate on future projects together.

A Note From Diana:
It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to discover “glimpses of God’s work” in history! The stories of God’s faithfulness, of His provision, of His perfect timing, of His abiding presence (regardless of circumstance) are found, not only in the pages of Scripture, but in the lives of believers who have gone before us—all woven intricately into world history. Observing people in history trust God with their entire lives, and learning how God interacted with people, leaders, cultures and nations, transformed my approach to history. And, it literally changed how I lived.
As this journey of discovery was taking place, a door opened for me to share it with other homeschooling families. . . Being a storyteller, it would be such fun to sit down with you and describe the wild adventure of the past 30+ years (spoiler alert: I never saw it coming!).
For now, however, what I can say is that my part of this curriculum-writing adventure is ending in the same way that it began—first, with God’s working in multiple lives over multiple months, second with God’s nudging, third with God’s incredible provision, and, finally with God’s spectacularly perfect timing. We continue to be amazed at how right— and so very appropriate—it is to pass the torch to Brandon and Lanette Judy. They are not only experienced in homeschooling and wise in business, they are courageous and adventurous believers, too!
We look forward with great anticipation to the next chapter of History Revealed as Brandon and Lanette take this way beyond what we were able to accomplish

In the coming months, we’ll begin transitioning the purchasing and access experience into a unified TLP platform. We’re excited for the clarity and convenience this will bring.
Until then, we simply want to say: God is good. He writes stories we could never write ourselves—and we can’t wait to walk into this new chapter with you.
